Worship

Collective worship is central to the life of Walsgrave C of E Academy. Worship offers the children and others in our school an opportunity to reflect on values and issues in the context of our Christian vision and ethos. It is an expression of our vision and shapes our approach to others and to what we do in school. We warmly invite all members of our school community to join our worship.

“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11

Our worship has 3 underlying principles:

• It is inclusive and contributes to the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of all children
• It is invitational and respects the dignity of all participants
• It is inspiring, fun and combines a range of experiences with children at the centre of its delivery
